Collection: Sian Summerhayes

Sian Summerhayes lives and works in the Stroud area of the Cotswolds. Working primarily with gouache on paper, Sian is self taught in style and method. Her work is vibrant and busy and often very pattern-led in execution. The beautiful Cotswold countryside is a constant source of stimulation that has trickled in to her work through various depictions of animals and birds among nature. Also inspired by home interiors, home comforts and life in a cotswold cottage, Sian enjoys the idea of bringing pretty, colourful snapshots from her imagination in to the home environment.

Having previously studied History of Art and Graphic Design, Sian has also worked in Fine Art Publishing, Contemporary Art Fabrication as well as Art Licensing. Now concentrating on her own artwork full time, Sian produces her own Art Prints and Homewares as well as licensing original illustrations, paintings and collages through Pure Illustration.
